The El Paraiso golf course was designed by Gary Player in 1974. It was originally owned by Wimpey Homes and purchased by the members in 1996 and they continue to refine the layout and presentation. There are 18 holes 6131 Metres Par 71

The golf is situated 14 Km from Marbella in a valley surrounded by hills with magnificent views of the coast.
Description:
El Paraiso Golf course was carefully designed to achieve a peaceful atmosphere through the varied abundance of trees and vegetation, strategically placed lakes and bunkers.
The course has fairways which are quite wide, but you need to attack them quite carefully.
The wide fairways are bordered by heavy rough. The 6th hole is generally regarded as the best on the course, a par-five dogleg left where your drive must steer clear of two well-positioned bunkers, left and right, and your second shot should be aimed to the left in order to avoid landing in the lake. The green has two tiers.
The club house is situated in the middle of the course and calls the 6th hole its "Signature hole" which has a dogleg left par 5 and needs a drive to avoid two bunkers on both sides and also a lake in the second shot.
